Ogun youths warn Obasanjo over Kashamu

The Ogun Youth Alliance (OYA)
has issued a warning to former
President Olusegun Obasanjo against
infringing on the human rights of Ogun
East Senator-elect Prince Buruji
Kashamu, Sun News Online reports.

According to a statement issued in
Abeokuta yesterday through the group'd
coordinator Oluremi Akinola, the group
has urged the National Human Rights
Commission (NHRC) and other groups
to take action against Obasanjo.

The call follows an accusation made by
Kashamu alleging that the former
President was involved in a plot to
extradite him to the U.S. over a drug-
related incident in that country.
Kashamu has alleged that Obasanjo
has been hunting him down due to his
election defeat at the hands of the
People's Democratic Party (PDP).
