A North Carolina driver who was tapping an address into her cellphone caused a bad car wreck that killed her father, police said.
Tequila Cherry, 35, has been arrested on one count of driving with a revoked license, the Charlotte Observer reported Wednesday.
James Cherry, 61, died at the scene, authorities said. Six other people suffered injuries that weren't life threatening on the two-lane country road in Caldwell County.
The daughter was driving to a family friend's house and was putting the address into a map site, said North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper F.J. Beam, the paper reported.

Tequila Cherry was using her cellphone when she caused a car wreck that killed her father on a two-lane country road, officials said.
"When she looked up, she was over the center line," he said.
Her SUV collided with a pickup truck and a Jeep.
The Caldwell County District Attorney's Office will determine whether to file additional charges against Cherry, Beam said.
