APC chieftains to Niger: Be patient with Buhari

A chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Bayelsa State and a former second republic state legislator in the old Rivers State, Chief Austine Asamaowei, has urged the people of Niger Delta to be patient and allow President Muhammadu Buhari to settle down for governance.
According to him, the President needs the support of all Nigerians to move the country forward.

Asamaowei, who made the call in Yenagoa during a chat with newsmen, said it would take time to turn things round, lamented that the President came in when governance was at its lowest ebb.
“The man has been there for just sixty days, we are always in a hurry to get everything done without looking at where we are coming from,” he said.
