The Bronx's Caribbean pride was on full display Sunday as the borough played host to the 26th annual Dominican Day Parade.
Thousands of parade-goers lined up along Grand Concourse to watch the festivities, some in lawn chairs adorned with the island's red, white and blue flag.
"I love it," says Oliver David, 45, a Bronx resident who watched the parade in the cool shade of a tree near the corner of 167th street.

"It's a way to unite everyone in the neighborhood," he said.
Vendors made their way through the dancing crowds selling everything from beef-filled empanadas to small Dominican flag keychains.
