cocaine smuggled into NY through birthday package.

The only thing missing from this blow was a bow.

City narcotics investigators busted a drug ring where boxes of cocaine masquerading as colorfully wrapped children’s birthday presents were smuggled to New York through the mail, officials said Wednesday.

One shipment was covered in pink birthday wrapping paper and put in a gift bag with a stuffed Olaf doll from the hit Disney movie “Frozen,” officials said.

Another package was also in birthday gift-wrapping and was mailed with a Minion doll, officials said.

Investigators seized five packages, containing a kilogram of cocaine each, during a two-week span, officials said. The five kilograms have a street value of $225,000, authorities said.

Albert Fortosa, 24, of Harlem, was hit with multiple counts of conspiracy and drug possession charges for allegedly hatching the plan to bring two pounds of coke into the U.S. from Puerto Rico.

The drugs were allegedly sent to Fortosa through Express mail.

Members of the NYPD, U.S. Postal Service and the city Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor caught wind of the scam during a long-term wiretap investigation and intercepted five packages sent to Fortosa, finding drugs in each, officials said.

Fortosa, who had three underlings distribute the drugs to nightclubs in Brooklyn and Manhattan, was arrested on July 2 after he accepted one of the packages, officials said.

His team, Daniel Reyes, 26, Joseph Owens, 44, Derek Santana, 25, and Claudio Mallory, 28, were all arrested on Aug. 4.

Fortosa is being held on $250,000 bail, officials said.

The investigation into the drug-smuggling ring began with Santana, who allegedly dealt cocaine, Xanax, heroin and other drugs to undercover cops at a club.

The cops used the undercover buy to build a case and wiretap probe against Santana, and his supplier Fortosa, officials said.

Reyes, who is facing a minimum of eight years, was arraigned in Manhattan Supreme Court Wednesday and ordered held on $150,000 bail for selling almost $25,000 worth of drugs to an undercover officer.

His lawyer, Deron Castro, asked for a more lenient bail since Reyes apparently used the drugs he sold.

“He has suffered for a long period of time from a drug addiction,” Castro said.

Reyes also suffers from cyclic vomiting syndrome, which causes him to throw up for up to eight hours straight sometimes, Castro said.
