At least, dozens of people were injure in an Arizona end of summer music concert

A packed music festival paused amid chaos Saturday night as a swarm of fans rushed a Tempe, Ariz., stage, hospitalizing about a dozen people, local reports said.

The stampede wounded at least 10 people, injuring one person with a head injury, fire officials told the Daily News.
Concertgoers described the
frightening moments just after 7:30 p.m. local time as “suffocating." Scorching temperatures in the triple digits were recorded in the Tempe area as the Summer Ends Music Festival played on.


It’s not clear what caused panicked fans to rush the sweltering stage at the end of G. Easy’s set, but witnesses reportedly saw at least two girls go down with seizures.

Medics treated a majority of those injured for heat and alcohol-related problems, according to Tempe police officials.

Moments before the surge, fans were shown in videos waving their hands in unison.
