Explosion rocks Brooklyn, 1 died.

A massive explosion tore the front off of Brooklyn building Saturday, killing at least one person, authorities said. Three other people were injured — one critically — officials said.

The explosion inside the three-story building rocked 13th Ave. near 42nd St. in Borough Park shortly after
1 p.m.

More than 100 firefighters and several ambulance crews raced to put out the fire the explosion caused, officials said.

One person was found dead at the scene, officials said.

Three others were taken to Methodist Hospital just after the blast.

The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

Emergency workers asked residents to avoid the area as the FDNY fought the fire and investigated the blast.
