Mocking terrorist: drop song not bomb.

They’re not exactly known for their love of pop music.


But Islamic State jihadis are being mocked by a Twitter account which shows the extremists as if they were enjoying singing karaoke.



Each picture of the notorious terror group is accompanied by a hilarious lyric from modern pop stars such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Nearly 40,000 followers are enjoying @isis_karaoke mock the terrorist organization through song.

The satirical account, @ISIS_Karaoke, has gained nearly 40,000 followers in just a few weeks such is their popularity.

The account's biography claims they are “dropping songs, not bombs” as they lampoon the terror group with daily posts that show fighters in pictures that match up with the chosen song lyrics.

Lyrics from artists such as Snoop Dogg are used in the hilarious account.
One of the most popular posts shows a fighter carrying their symbolic black flag along with the
words to The Village People’s ‘YMCA’.

Another shows a man imagined as singing along to The Weather Girls’ classic ‘It’s Raining Men’, while a terrorist brandishing a machine gun is accompanied by the lyrics to Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gin And Juice’.

Other snaps show senior jihadis addressing groups as they speak in public, and some are still taken from ISIS’ gruesome videos of executions.

The account’s posts are frequently shared hundreds of times and they have been praised by fans for mercilessly mocking the terror group.
