Akwa- Ibom - The governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party
(PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel has been declared the winner of
the governorship election held on Saturday.
Emmanuel polled a total of 996 071 votes, ahead of All Progressive
Congress's (APC) Umana Okon Umana who got 89 865.
The APC has called for the cancellation of the poll.
